ASKED
First-timer or a pro by now?
Here are a few details so you know what to expect!
MAKEUP
1
Do I need a trial?
For brides, yes- highly recommended. A trial lets us perfect your look, match your style and make sure everything feels right and photographs perfectly. It also helps ensure your wedding morning runs smoothly with zero surprises! If you are getting a glam before any other event, no worries on a trial unless you want to add it!
2
How long does makeup take?
About 60 minutes for a bridal full glam because brides usually take a little longer for extra skin prep + detail work. Natural glam should take 20-30 minutes per person after that!
3
Will my makeup last all day?
Yes, I use long-wear, humidity resistant products and techniques designed to last! You can keep a little powder puff, blotting paper, or lip gloss to keep things fresh as the night carries on!
4
What if I have acne, texture, or sensitive skin?
Totally fine! I work with all skin types. I prep your skin specifically for your concerns.
5
Do you travel to my venue?
Yes, I meet you wherever your "getting ready" space is.
6
What should my bridal party know?
Everyone should arrive with clean, bare skin. Avoid heavy moisturizers and SPF.
7
Can you cover tattoos, redness or dark circles?
Yes, I have full-coverage products for camouflaging and color correcting.
8
Do you provide lashes?
Yes! Lashes and lash application are an additional cost. Just let me know ahead of time if you would like me to bring lashes or if you have picked some out already!
9
What do you suggest for mature skin?
We tailor our techniques to all skin types and ages. If momma or grandma wants a little natural glam, we've got her!
SPRAY TAN
1
How long before my event should I get my spray tan?
For best results, book your tan 1-2 days before your event. This gives the color time to fully develop and settle beautifully!
2
How long does a spray tan last?
Most spray tans last 7-10 days with proper prep and aftercare.
3
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear loose, dark clothing and skip bras/straps if possible. Men are required to wear bottoms to cover. Disposable, minimal coverage undergarments are a great option for minimal tan lines!
4
Will the spray tan stain my wedding dress?
A fully developed and rinsed spray tan will not transfer. I use products designed to stay put, even in white gowns.
5
How do I prep my skin beforehand?
Exfoliate 24 hours before, shave 12-24 hours before, avoid lotion, makeup, oils, deodorant, and perfume the day of your tan for best results.
6
When should I shower after my spray tan?
Your first rinse will be between 2-8 hours, depending on your solution. We will specify during your appointment!
7
Should I get a trial spray tan before my wedding? (bride)
Yes, if you haven't spray tanned with Honey Glo Co. before, definitely do a trail run to perfect your shade!
8
Can I get a spray tan if I'm fair-skinned?
Absolutely. Fair skin takes spray tans beautifully! We can go with a subtle, natural shade to get you warmed up.
9
Can I work out or sweat after my spray tan?
Avoid sweating and steam for a few hours.
